Former Moo Duk Kwan Members who have an historical lineage to the Moo Duk Kwan through their instructors and training history may apply for membership.
The World Moo Duk Kwan Heritage Program allows Moo Duk Kwan Alumni in Soo Bahk Do, Tang Soo Do, and Tae Kwon Do to reconnect with the legacy of Grandmaster Hwang Kee and with a common goal of strengthening the Moo Duk Kwan for future generations.
No rank certification from the World Moo Duk Kwan is achievable under the Heritage Membership Program.
Moo Duk Kwan Dan Bon holders not currently affiliated with the World Moo Duk Kwan, as well as Moo Duk Kwan practitioners who have not been issued a Dan Bon but have a documented history of Moo Duk Kwan affiliation are eligible to apply.
• Access to Kwang Jang Nim H.C. Hwang through specifically scheduled and identified Heritage seminars and events
• Inclusion among organizations through shared events
• Acknowledgement of member’s rank in their current system
• Permission to wear the official World Moo Duk Kwan Heritage patch
• Acknowledgement of member contributions to furthering the legacy of Hwang Kee and the Moo Duk Kwan
• Access to quarterly newsletter
